Cloud City Conservation Center
This experiential learning internship provides pathways to leadership and paid work experience for Lake County youth. Interns support zero waste efforts at events such as the Leadville Race Series and Boom Days throughout the summer. Interns help manage the waste stream at events and provide zero waste education and outreach for the community.
- Eligibility: Interns should be between the ages of 15–23. A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation are required.
- position Dates: Tuesday June 23 – Friday August 29, 2026
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week. Interns must be able to commit to working Friday/Saturday/Sunday of event weekends. Additional/optional hours will be added during the week.
- Hourly Rate: $18/hour
