Trail Crew Leader

AntFarm Youth Services


AntFarm Youth Services, a Sandy, Oregon-based nonprofit organization, invites applicants for crew leader and crew member positions for a trail reconstruction project on the Mt. Hood National Forest this summer. The crew leader and members will work independently in a remote location (no cell phone service or internet access). Trail and boardwalk construction experience is highly desired.

Skills: the use of hand tools, power tools and equipment; carpentry/construction; the ability to follow detailed project plans and specifications; interacting with the public; and meeting project deadlines. The crew leader will supervise the crew and its work under the direction of a project manager who will be onsite once or twice a week. Camping at a nearby developed campground is optional (pit toilets, drinking water via hand-operated well pump). Hourly rate based on work and leadership experience. Project timeline: June to mid-September 2026.
