Catkins Nature School
Catkins Nature School is seeking a kind, curious, and dependable individual to lead a small group of early learners (ages 3–6) in meaningful outdoor play and exploration. As a Learning Guide, you’ll support student agency, foster connection to the natural world, and nurture wonder alongside our experienced educators.
What You’ll Do:
• Facilitate child-led, nature-based learning experiences
• Support social-emotional development through observation and guidance
• Ensure safety and engagement during outdoor activities
• Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in daily reflections
Ideal Candidate:
• Loves working with children and being outdoors in all weather
• Brings patience, creativity, and a sense of humor
• Has experience in early childhood education or related fields (preferred)
• Embraces our values of environmental kinship, respect, and hands-on learning
