Under the direction of the Environmental Program Manager (EPM) I of the Environmental Evaluation Branch (Branch), in the Licensing Division (Division), within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the Senior Environmental Scientist (SES) (Supervisory) of the Environmental Review Unit A or B (Unit) will serve as the supervisor overseeing scientific staff within the Unit who are responsible for supervising Application reviews for commercial cannabis activity license types including environmental evaluation as it relates to compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The incumbent will direct and provide guidance to scientific staff on environmental issues related to commercial cannabis cultivation activity licensing and regulation.
