Under the general direction of the Senior Environmental Scientist (SES) (Supervisor) of the Environmental Review Office A or B (Office), in the Environmental Evaluation Branch (Branch), part of the Licensing Division (Division), within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the SES (Specialist) will be responsible for conducting Application reviews for commercial cannabis license types including environmental evaluation as it relates to compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). In addition, the SES (Specialist) will lead and provide guidance to scientific staff on particular license types and environmental issues related to cannabis cultivation licensing and regulations.
