The Regional Park Superintendent II will have an exciting opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations, programs, and services of the new Environmental Justice Center, helping shape the Center into a meaningful and lasting community resource. This position will oversee facility operations, staff, educational and interpretive programming, community engagement, partnerships, and activities that advance the Center’s mission.
The role will be instrumental in developing programs and experiences that recognize the cultural and historical significance of the environmental injustices experienced by surrounding communities, while also addressing the environmental challenges that continue to affect them today. Through strong community partnerships, thoughtful programming, and effective operational leadership, the Regional Park Superintendent II will help create a welcoming space for education, reflection, recreation, and community connection.
This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about environmental education, public service, community engagement, and creating programs that have a meaningful impact on the communities they serve.
