Job Description

Come join the Technical Safety & Regulatory Compliance team where we are committed to doing what’s best for our customers. Be a part of a team filled with bright, resourceful and determined employees who play a vital role in regulatory development, certification and compliance activities.

We’re looking for people who thrive in a fast paced environment, deliver as a way of life and are inspired to make a positive impact. Team members are expected to establish effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners. Sound judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change are a must.

The Production Vehicle Evaluation (PVE) test program validates that On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) systems are functioning properly on production-level vehicles. The OBD PVE Test Engineer is responsible for the acquisition, preparation and testing of production vehicles. Testing includes the demonstration of diagnostic functionality by invoking faults, collecting data and verifying appropriate detection. This role works closely with OBD calibration and certification teams to resolve open questions or concerns.

In addition to the responsibilities for the PVE program, the selected candidate will serve in a supporting role for other tailpipe, EVAP or OBD test programs.

This is an onsite position at the Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI. Occasional off shift/weekend test support may be required.
