Detailed Description

The Digital Solutions Engineer partners with cross-functional teams-including Product Managers, developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders-to define, validate, and implement digital solutions. This role requires strong knowledge of hydraulic fracturing operations and the ability to translate complex operational processes into user-friendly digital workflows.

Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting product lifecycle processes, and ensuring alignment between technical development and business objectives. The role also supports product rollouts, user onboarding, and training, while continuously gathering feedback to improve system performance and user experience.

Additionally, this position contributes to adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), supports governance standards, and helps drive continuous improvement initiatives within the digital organization.

Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and digital solution delivery
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data analytics and performance tracking (KPIs)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical and operational concepts into practical solutions
  • Experience supporting field rollouts and user training
  • Familiarity with oil & gas systems, data formats, and operational workflows
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in engineering, maintenance systems, or related field

Preferred Certifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology
  • Experience implementing technology solutions in field operations environments

Additional Details (Working Conditions & Physical Demands)

Primarily sedentary work environment with occasional standing and walking. Requires frequent use of computers and repetitive hand movements (typing, data entry). Limited physical exertion; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Work is primarily performed in an office or controlled indoor environment. Minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Travel requirements: minimal to none.
