Admissions Officer

We are looking for a proactive, organised Admissions Officer to support our internship and field course programmes. This role suits someone with experience in administration and communications, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine interest in environmental conservation.

You will be the first point of contact for participants from around the world, guiding them from Application to arrival. Working closely with the Director and team supervisors, you will help shape who joins Archipelagos each year and keep our programmes running smoothly. The position offers hands-on experience at the heart of a marine conservation NGO.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions and recruitment for interns and field course participants.
• Communicate with applicants, universities and partner organisations across Europe and beyond.
• Handle email correspondence, programme paperwork and records.
• Help organise administrative workflows and prepare reports.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in general administration and/or programme coordination
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Greek is an advantage.
• A proactive approach, willingness to learn and ability to work well with a team.
• Studies in business administration or a related field would be an advantage.
