The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day EHS programs at the Libertyville headquarters site, including office, R&D laboratory, facilities, and operations support areas. This role will help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and Illinois regulatory requirements. The position will focus on proactive safety and environmental program implementation, including safety training, incident investigation, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, hazard identification and risk assessments, PPE assessments, audits, lab safety, contractor safety coordination, emergency response support, and site-wide EHS inspections. This role will partner closely with R&D, Facilities, Security, Human Resources, Associates, and Global EHS to align Libertyville site practices with Hollister’s global EHS standards, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen the site’s overall EHS culture. |
