Forest Kindergarten Assistant Summer Teacher

Wee Folk Forest Kindergarten is seeking a magical human to teach at our nature-immersion programs for ages 2 1/2 to 6. This position starts May 26th and goes through August 7th, with mandatory training in mid-May. We are open to applicants who are available for part of the summer as well. We are seeking someone with the following skills/attributes:

• Kind and warm with a love for children and; prior, relevant experience with children
• Committed to developing a keen nature awareness and cultivating a love for nature in children
• Fun! With a love for including everyone and creative problem-solving
• Must be masterful with groups of children, helping all to feel successful, with a non-competitive focus
• Must have knowledge of the critical social-emotional development happening for this age group

May 26-August 7: 8:15-3:45 (or 4:45 possible) Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri
