A Project Foreman at SET Environmental is responsible for: 

  • Leading a crew on both scheduled and emergency response-based projects 
  • Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards 
  • Ensuring client expectations are exceeded 
  • Coordination of equipment and supplies for project needs 
  • The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to: 
    • Confined Space Entry – CSE 
    • Environmental remediation 
    • Waterway response 
    • Hazardous materials clean up 
  • Will perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary 

 

position REQUIREMENTS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred 
  • Minimum 2 years verifiable industry experience 
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and OSHA 10 or ability to obtain 
  • Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Ability to respond to out-of-town projects as needed 
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently 
  • Basic chemical knowledge 
  • Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening 
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean record that meets SET insurance requirements
