Maintains an orderly and sanitary environment in the Medical Center through the cleaning and distribution of linen.

  • Collects launders folds and sorts linen.
  • Stocks and supplies linen carts.
  • Provides linen services.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities,
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

education: High School Graduate or Equivalent

experience: No experience required

Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, climbing (ladder, steps) and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. May be exposed to, cold and heat.

The starting base rate for this role is $15.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
