Conservation Educator

9 Weeks / $640 a week ($16/hour)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction and curriculum in an enthusiastic, safe, and responsible manner
  • Supervise campers, including groups of up to 18 in cabins during evening and night hours
  • Lead groups of up to 20 campers in daily activities and outdoor programs
  • Always be present with campers to ensure safety and engagement
  • Perform daily camp tasks and safely traverse the camp’s 250-acre facility

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • experience working with children
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Physically capable of performing duties in an outdoor camp environment
  • Preferred: experience in outdoor recreation, education, childcare, and an interest in natural resources
