Seasonal Forester – Frisco
• Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Location: Frisco, CO (Summit County)
• Full consideration date: March 15, 2026
This position supports a variety of field-based forestry projects, including timber cruising, marking, GPS/GIS applications, and insect & disease work. Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a degree in forestry or a related natural resources field and be comfortable performing strenuous outdoor work in variable conditions.
Seasonal Forester (2 Positions)
• Locations: Walden, CO (Parks Ranger Station) and Steamboat Springs, CO (Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger Station)
• Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Housing: Dormitory-style housing provided
• Employment Dates: Late May through August 2026 (flexible)
• Priority consideration: February 15, 2026
These positions support U.S. Forest Service Good Neighbor Authority projects, including timber sale layout, thinning, chainsaw operations, and GPS/GIS work. Occasional camping may be required.
Both roles are ideal for students or recent graduates seeking hands-on forestry field experience in Colorado. A valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) is required.
